Why this matters
Liquidity, volatility, and spreads change dramatically depending on active sessions. The London-New York overlap is when the big moves happen.
When London and New York are both open, volume spikes and trends develop. If you can only trade one window per day, this is it.
CME Globex runs nearly 24h, Sunday evening to Friday afternoon. The only daily break is 1 hour at 4–5 PM CT.
